Exploring Grouse Mountain: A Memorable 2025 January ILEA Mingle Event Recap

Updated: Jan 12

This past week, we had the privilege of experiencing an exclusive ILEA Vancouver member event at the stunning Grouse Mountain. Graciously hosted by the team at Grouse, it was an evening filled with adventure, camaraderie, and breathtaking views.

Our evening began with a guided snowshoe tour through the pristine winter wonderland of the mountain. Surrounded by snow-draped trees and crisp alpine air, we explored the trails, enjoying both the beauty of nature and the company of fellow event professionals and their guests.

Afterward, we warmed up at Altitudes Bistro for a cozy après-ski gathering. Delicious bites, drinks, and engaging conversations made it a perfect way to wind down after the outdoor adventure. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with new industry professionals, strengthen existing relationships, and share ideas in an inspiring setting.

Here are some photos from the event - moments of laughter, connection, and the magic of Grouse Mountain. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and a special thanks to Grouse Mountain for hosting this unforgettable evening!

We can’t wait for the next ILEA Vancouver event - see you there!

WHAT’S NEW UP AT GROUSE FOR 2025:

The New Grouse Mountain Blue Gondola is up and running!

It has 14 towers and 27 cabins, each holding 8 people. It takes just 5.5 minutes to go up the mountain, and the gondola can carry almost 1,000 people every hour. This will help more people get to the top faster. The new gondola will also work with the old Red Skyride to carry even more visitors.

The Grouse Mountain Bike Park will open a new Bike Park with trails for everyone, from beginners to expert riders come spring! There will be easier trails for kids and harder trails for more experienced bikers. All trails will lead to the Screaming Eagle chairlift, so bikers can go up and ride again quickly. This is perfect for people who want to ride a lot and have fun!

The New Grouse Mountain Coaster is set to open for this spring/summer! The ride will go through trees with cool twists and turns, ending with an amazing view of Vancouver. It will be 1.4 kilometers long, go 45 km/h, and drop almost 100 meters - woohoo!
