The ILEA Vancouver Chapter was founded in 1993 and its membership represents skilled professionals who are passionate about networking knowledge and event inspiration.

The International Live Events Association provides members: collaborative networking, education and professional development, inspiration, outward awareness and credibility to ensure a thriving global creative events profession.

IMPORTANT Message to the BC Meetings & Event Industry

Dear Friends:

2022/2023 has seen a major return to live events, and for the most part, we can agree it's felt really good. But it has also been incredibly overwhelming, as many, if not all of us, have been pushed beyond our limits trying to support the demand for our services. I think it's key to acknowledge that these too are unprecedented times.

Your Vancouver chapter board of volunteers is working hard alongside the rest of our Canadian chapters and industry peers to harness the energy around us this year and not only survive, but to rebuild our community by providing you with trending, pertinent, and forward-thinking educational programming. We are striving to build and represent a truly inclusive industry and focus on you - our members.

To each of our valuable members, I want you to remember that YOU are ILEA. Each of you are the ones who bring expertise and validation to our association. Each of you create the value of one another's investment in ILEA by being involved, being present, and being there for each other.

My challenge to you this year is to try to be just that for others in our membership. Be the reason people find value in our community, and others will be the reason you do too. Your board will continue to do its best to facilitate opportunities for you to succeed this year, but you don't have to wait! Live ILEA every day.

We've survived. We've thrived. Let's take time to celebrate each other.
